Eligibility & Experience
Applicants should have a solid record of shutdown/turnaround work in oil & gas plants. The employer is prioritizing candidates who can demonstrate at least three completed Gulf shutdowns with references or documentary proof (gate passes, site IDs, experience letters). For drivers, a valid Qatar license is essential. For PTW coordinators, hands-on experience with the Qatar permit-to-work system and interface with operations is a must.
Role Responsibilities (Highlights)
PTW Coordinator
Coordinate the issuance and closure of permits, verify isolations/LOTO, gas tests and safety plans, align with operations and area authority, and maintain permit registers. Strong communication and documentation discipline are vital for a high-tempo Qatar shutdown environment.
Mechanical & Piping Crew
Foremen, fitters and fabricators handle dismantling, inspection and reassembly of static equipment and piping. Typical tasks include exchanger bundle pulling, vessel entry, gasket replacement, alignment, hydro/pneumatic testing and line reinstatement under QA/QC and PTW controls.
HSE Support (Fire/Hole Watch)
Support hot work and confined-space activities by monitoring gas readings, maintaining fire watch equipment, ensuring barricading and communication, and recording entry/exit logs.
Electrical/Instrumentation
Perform isolation and tagging, glanding/termination, panel and field device checks, loop testing and punch-list clearance. Documentation and coordination with commissioning teams are key.
