Role Overview & Responsibilities

Scaffolding teams play a critical role in shutdowns, construction and maintenance projects across refineries, petrochemicals and large industrial plants in Saudi Arabia. Your day-to-day work will involve safe erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolds; inspection and tagging; and strict adherence to the client’s HSE procedures. Supervisors and inspectors must verify load capacities, bay spacing and anchorage, manage permits and toolbox talks, and ensure only certified personnel access the platforms. Designers and planners prepare scaffold designs, MTOs and look-ahead schedules, while coordinators and document controllers maintain permits, inspection registers and compliance dossiers.

Eligibility & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable scaffolding experience (oil & gas or heavy industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of tube & fitting / Cuplock systems, working at height, and scaffold tagging systems
  • Ability to read drawings/isometrics and communicate with multi-national crews
  • For supervisory/inspection roles: certification such as CISRS/ASNT/third-party approvals is an advantage
  • Basic English/Hindi communication; safety-first attitude and fitness for duty
